Tracy O'Meara Smith

Hi I am a self confessed wildflower nerd who loves to read, spend time in nature, drink tea with friends and my family. I live and work in the Perth HIlls, originally growing up on the coast in Triggs.

I love to camp searching for orchids amongst the scrub.

I love the work I do supporting others to empower themselves, it is my greatest joy.

I am a Mum to two gorgeous teenage girls, married to a big hearted Man - we have chooks, geese, dogs and ducks on our hills property in Lesmurdie.

Silverdale Natural Therapy

I'm Trace, a Bowen Therapy and Flower Essence Practitioner based in the Perth Hills, with over a decade of experience supporting clients through gentle, holistic healing.

My work sits at the intersection of body, mind, and spirit. Bowen Therapy is at the core of my practice — a gentle, hands-on technique that works with the body's fascia and nervous system to relieve pain, ease tension, and support the body's own capacity to heal. Alongside this, I offer Flower Essence Therapy, which uses the subtle energy of flowers to support emotional and spiritual wellbeing, and EFT (tapping), a practical tool for calming the nervous system and shifting stuck emotional patterns.

For those wanting more personalised guidance, I offer Flower Essence Readings to help identify what essences best support you, and Baihui Flower Healing Sessions, a unique offering combining energetic and flower-based healing for clarity and calm. For clients ready for deeper, sustained change, my signature program, Free Yourself, is a 3-month journey weaving together Bowen, flower essences, and emotional support tools.

I work with people at every stage of their healing journey — those seeking relief from acute pain, those managing long-term chronic conditions, and those doing deeper emotional or spiritual work. Whatever brings you to my practice, whether it's a nagging injury, an anxious mind, or simply a feeling that something needs to shift, my approach is to meet you exactly where you are and support your body, mind, and spirit in finding their way back to balance.

I offer sessions from my clinic in the Perth Hills, with bookings available online.

Distinguished and Famous people from Trentham

🩺 Dr Gweneth Wisewould

Gweneth Wisewould brought extensive hospital and surgical experience to Trentham when she established her country practice in 1938. She had graduated in medicine in 1915, one of only four women in her class, and worked in surgery, infectious diseases and anaesthetics in Melbourne. Trentham demanded a different range of skills: patients were scattered across rugged country, and emergencies might require treatment in isolated homes as well as the small hospital. She remained the town's doctor until her death in 1972. Her long local service connected considerable medical training with the practical resourcefulness needed to care for a dispersed rural community.

🥕 Annie Smithers

Annie Smithers's cooking at du Fermier gives Trentham a direct connection with a food writer, chef and grower known for a close relationship between garden and kitchen. Fruit and vegetables grown at Babbington Park in nearby Lyonville supply the restaurant, linking the menu with the seasons and the practical limits of what the garden produces. Her working day can begin with baking baguettes before cooking for the small dining room. The connection combines a Trentham restaurant with a regional farming life, making the often-used phrase paddock to plate a matter of daily work.
